The Time and Attendance API gives you access to employee schedules, time logs, and attendance policies. It’s ideal for automating timekeeping processes and syncing attendance data from external systems like biometric devices.
Key Capabilities:
Push clock-in and clock-out data from third-party sources.
Retrieved daily logs and audited attendance records.
Fetch company-specific timekeeping rules (e.g., grace periods, overtime).
File or trigger “My Request” approvals for leave or schedule changes.
Retrieved employee work schedules for alignment with shift management systems.
Use Case Example:
An external biometric system pushes clock-in/out data to Sprout, allowing HR to process payroll automatically using synced attendance logs.
